  6. @PrettyBrownEyes718 If you’re dancing doesn’t include sweating….I say it would last. But if it does….expect o have some puffy roots by the end of the night. Regarding extensions, unless you have hair that has been straightened a number of times consistently, I would not suggest getting unless you don’t mind wearing a noticeable weave that WILL have 2 diff textures at some point during the life of the weave. An alternative would be to get some clip-in made. Search youtube for it.

  7. Thanks for the tutorial! I was thinking about straightening my hair for my birthday in November. I may go to a club. Do you think my hair would last with my dancing it up in the club? And I was considering hair extensions so I’m scared my natural hair will revert and the extensions will stay pin straight :-/

  9. @GuttaSnapa16 Mine have a tinge of brown, but I clean them immediately after every use by just pulling a damp washcloth through the compressed plates while the? iron still has heat (but plugged out)

  10. Great tutorial! Your hair is lovely. I have the same flat iron, how have you managed to keep the plates white? I have tried so many cleaning products and I still can’t get some burnt product off of mine.

  13. @curvybody2 My hair is usually able to maintain the straight texture. No exercise. Go straight from AC car to AC building. When I find my hair is getting a little big I sleep in 2 bantu knot buns and it camoflauges with big waves.

  19. Thanks for the video. I have all the same tools. I also use the same process but I’ve been noticing I’m getting a few extra split ends. What do you set your setting to on your blow dryer and flat iron? What is your hair type?

  21. @natrlchallenge Sure. But FHI does not make comb attachments (I called the manufacturer). So if you are going to purchase, make sure your blow drying skills are up to par. I still struggle :-S or You can try CHI. I think there dryers have a comb attachment.
