im a guy and i dont have too long hair either and when i had my hair stylist straighten my curly&wavy hair the other day when i got a clean up to lighten it, it did burn my forehead on the corners of my forehead..

im gonna start to just come my hair up and straighten it in the air then push it down because once its straight, its straight.. no matter how you do it.

and on top of that haha, they sell different width hair straighteners, so just get a thinner width one.
