Opinions: Would you use a Heat Protectant with the MAXIGLIDE XP Hair Straightener?
There are one Suggestion to question “Opinions: Would you use a Heat Protectant with the MAXIGLIDE XP Hair Straightener?”
Heat protectant no matter how expensive or what brand you use, does NOT protect hair 100% from heat. Like skin, lotions still causes sunburned. It does not protect your hair from hair falls, from hair not growing normally and from split ends. I’ve responded to many girls under 15 experiencing in hair falls since 2009. Women 60-90 have those same symptoms but it took them years to get there. But for 15 & under, giving advice here? They can’t predict the future of their hairs, until they’re in their 30′s, but 15 & under with hair loss? C’mon!
When it does that, it is too late to do anything about it. That’s another reason why the hair industry is a billion dollar business, their main job is to make tons of money and they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss, due to ‘abuse’.
What I do? I just shampoo, no conditioner. We have soft water. When traveling I briefly rinse with bottled water. I buy the cheapest shampoo money can buy, Garnier for Normal Hair for example.
