thanks everybody for the help! [:
okay great i try seperating it in sections, though im customarily rushed so i straighten my hair quick. i have the great straightener already. as great as i condition my hair regularly, as great as i take great caring of it.
Okay so its all about the shampoo condiotner and round brush you are using and blowdryer. And stay away from all flat irons!!! Thet are so damaging. And how often are you getting your hair trimmed.
Here is the shampoo and conditoner I use and its made my hair sooo soft! http://backtobasics.com/haircare/reparative.php
My hair is dry and damaged from all the bleaching and coloring back and forth to blonde and my highlights and all thaty great stuff…….and they are only $10 a bottle and The bigger bottles are $20. So worth every penny.
Then when I get out of the shower I towel dry my hair and I put this in my hair http://www.moroccanoil.com/faq.htmits about $30-$40 a bottle and it will last you at least about 6-8 months. It makes my hair so shiny and soft. And I have naturuallyt curly/wavy hair so when I have this in my hair it cuts blowing my hair straight in half. And my hair looks so amazingly healthy and shiny since I have been using it. And you dont use a lot. Just about a quarter size amount or a little more depending on how thick and long you hair is .
Make sure yoyu just dont use any round brush. Go to a salon and spend no more than $15 bucks in it. I know that seems a lot. But do you know what kind of a difference you will see?
This is the blow dryer I use. It cuts my time in half and I have had it for 3 years http://www.hdryers.com/elchim-hair-dryer.htm
Okay so remember, yeah, you are going to be spending a bit more than you probably do. And do you know what I love about that shampoo? You just need a little bit and it lathers up soooo much!
And when you get your hair cut, dont ever ever get it cut dry. Its like the worst thing for your hair that and thinning it out. And make sure you dont just go to anyone. Find a really good stylist and so what if you spend a little more, your hair is like the most important thing.
Im am going to try to find the round brush I use online and send u the link.
And also, its all about how you straighten your hair. Are you seperating your hair in sections or are you just grabbing random pieces and straightening them?? And if you dont have time in the morning to take a lot of time on it. Why dont you wash your hair the night before and take your time to straighten it? And then you can take a quick body shower in the morning. And if you are worried about it messing up you can sleep with a silk shower cap or change your pillow cases to silk or satin. My hair usually looks better the next day. And also over washing your hair could be another problem. You might be stripping your hair from its natural oils.
Are you doing at home hair conditoning treatments??
And if you got to the salon and get a cut and a blow out look at the way your stylist is blowing out your hair and remember it for next time when it comes to you blowing out your own hair
Love ya! I hope I helped!!
use shampoo for dry hair!
and when you straighten it, clip it up in sections, and start from the underneath of your hair, letting a bit more down each time
use a good hydrating shampoo so it looks silky. also it could be the straigtener. get an expensive one, trust me!
Put the hair into sections and straighten a bit at a time, and maybe ask someone to do the back for you?
Most heat protector sprays are good, and you can get shampoo and serum made to help protect the hair from heat in any normal drug stores
Well you can get straitnign gels and sprays to run through your hair at average drug stores. Also if yu take a shower in the morning((you’ll have to get up early)) and then blow dry your hair it could help
use a product to protect your hair from the heat such as Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide. Condition it well to get it back into shape.
Firstly you need to get a lotion for you hair that will protect it from burning. Most products will also give you hair and added shine, and you can get them even from your local supermarket!
Next you have to invest in a good hair straightener. It may seem like a big outlay of money at first but when the straigthener heats up in 2min and has setting for different thickness of hair it will definitely be worth it. Than everyday before you go to school you will be able to do your hair in now time and it will look great everytime.
Goodluck
Alright, A good thing to use to keep it Softer and more healthy looking, is Advance Techniques. (i cant spell the big word). It has things for Dryness, Frizz, and all kinds of other things. A good way to Straighten it, is try to get a Steam STRAIGHTENER. It keeps ur hair healthier, and it doesn’t "fry" it as bad. U just reminded me i ned to straighten my hair lol. THANKS
. but yea, I hope that i helped. There is also other things like Anti Frizz and stuff like that, to keep ur hair looking better, as for the back, when u straighten it, Try making it wet in the back, then that would kinda work like a Steam STRAIGHTENER, and it would work better.
. I hope i helped.
. Also, Part your hair into sections. That helps too. I just saw that other people said that, and had to come back and Change my answer lol. but yea, That helps alot. Just straighten it a little bit at a time.
.
For the dryness try Biosilk or Chi. Biosilk is a styling product and Chi is a leave-in conditioner. Have you tried a flat iron? After you blow dry your hair use a ceramic flat iron (you can buy them at Sally’s) to straighten.
aussie. you know the hair products with the kangaroo on them? any thing made bye them is awesome!!! it makes your hair great soft hydrated Perfect!
im the same way.
straighten it in layers.
get some hair serui use garnier fructis shine spray with UV filters
you can get it at cvs rite aid or wherever
just squirt it on each layer a cuple times and straighten over it
it will leave your hair soft, shiny and def not dry
but also not dry
bed head tigi
after party is an
amazing product to
apply before &
after straightening hair.
it makes your hair
soft & shinny & straighter.
i love it so much!
& you put it in
your hair while its dry,
so you can reapply it
whenever you need to.
also make sure to
protect your hair from damage
with heat protector.
hope this helps.
I find that spraying a leave in conditioner works with the dryness. They also have something called Silkworks at Walmart that you squeeze a small amount on your palms and work into the ends of your hair ( a little goes a long ways). Let you hair air dry before blow drying always to avoid dryness and damage. After you shampoo/condition rinse with cold water and after blow drying and straighting blast cold air to close the pores of you hair to prevent damage.
Get some kind of conditioning/moisturizing spray for your hair. I would also recommend not straightening your hair for a week or so to give it a break. If you straighten it too often it’ll dry out and look limp.
hiyaa (:
try straightening your hair in sections like the bottom layer and then another layer so you have 3 sections this should make it straighter and for the back try placing a mirror behind you while looking into another one, this makes it easier as you can see the front sides and back, for spray i use ghd thermal protection spray its quite good and to keep any fly aways down try using ghd polishing serum, i hope this helps x,
Try thermasilk volume and shine spray, its heat activated. Your hair will have some protection from the heat and it won’t look all dried out either. If the back is the hardest area to do try starting there first and straighten that part for a longer time than the rest of the hair. GOOD LUCK
Something that I bought recently that I love is Pantene Pro V (I’m pretty sure that’s the brand, but not positive – haha, I’m not at home) conditioner spray. It works great on dry spots in your hair and smells great. It’s definitely worth a try! Spray it on dry spots right before you straighten.
As for straightening tips, do you use a comb? I find it helps a lot to run the comb down the strands of hair with one hand and follow with the straightener with the other hand. It separates your hair to make it flatten straight and works better than grabbing the hair with your hand and not guiding it through the straightener. (I hope that made sense, let me know if it doesn’t).
Also, if it’s not working well, and you’ve either had your straightener for a while or it’s kind of cheap – maybe it’s time for a new one? I LOVE mine, it’s the Remington Wet2Straight (though I don’t recommend using it while your hair is wet, it’s too harsh) and I got it at Longs Drugs, but have seen it at Target and it was only like 20something bucks!
I put some frizzez (sorry I don’t know how to spell it). Then I take my time straightening it! I split it right down the middle so I straighten half of the back then the other half! =)
Towel dry your hair. After washing my hair before blow drying I have to leave it up in a towel. I try to leave it in a towel for up to 15 mins if time permits. Because If I dont the back especially seems to take way to long to dry with the blow dryer and it ends up frizzing and burning. The towel seems to get all that extra moisture out of the thicker back part of my hair safely. Also I blow dry my hair upside down so I can dry the back first and straighten it with a brush as I am drying. The front of my hair easily straightens and drys so I do that after the damange control has been done to the back.
get a little mirror so you can see the back of your hair when you straighten it.
haha.
& try garnier frutis leave in conditioner for dry or frizzy hair. i love it & it smells good
hope i helped!
Use the redken smooth down products. the shampoo, conditioner, and the heat protectant. They work really good.
Lately I’ve been paying a lot more attention to my hair, trying to make it as healthy as possible. I have stopped blow drying and straightening it as much and that alone has made a huge difference! Another suggestion is to use Redken. I am OBSESSED with this stuff! Ever since I’ve started using it, my hair has felt softer, shinier, and all around healthier. Hopefully one or both of these tips work for you, good luck!
