It takes me perpetually to straighten my hair. Any tips? Is there any haircuts to have it easier? we have unequivocally thick hair as well as we customarily have to straighten my hair a night prior to to save myself from removing up during 4 in a morning! Help me!
i used to have the same promblem but it really depends on many things like: how long your hair is,
how thick your hair is, how you straighten your hair (by sections, slowly, quickly etc) , and how hot your straightener is. you can always get your hair thinned out a bit ( not too much!) and you can shorten the length of your hair also i cut my hair a bit and also thinned it out and got more practice on straightening my hair cause i used to be super slow then i learned the correct movements and now it only takes me about 15-30 min to straighten my hair! i didn’t have to cut my hair short so don’t worry about that! always remember to start at the root and move slowly down your hair (depending on how thick or thin your hair is the thicker the slower and the thinner the faster you move your straigtner) if you don’t start at the root you might form creases on your hair so try to start from root to tip!! is you need section out your hair!! hope this helped
idk layerz ive got the same problem!!
buy a special hair straightner for your hair like the one on tv i dont really remember the name of it
Well first I recommend getting a 2 in straightener instead of a 1 in.
Myy hair is about 1 in below my shoulders and I have side bangs. I use a 2 inch straightener and it takes about 20-30 min to straighten.
As for better results, use an anti frizz creme after you take a shower and if you plan to straighten your hair that day or the next put in a straightening gel as well.
Right before you straighten it, use a heat protecting spray to reduce damage. Once you finish straightening it, put in a light conditioning spray (i use pantene’s detangling spray). it makes is softer and keeps it from tangling.
Hope I helped(=
1. I use a Chi straightener. It takes me a half hour to straighten my hair, and my hair is really curly. I used to use a Conair, it took me like 45 minutes.
2. Do smaller sections, it may seem stupid but if you do one large section, you’ll need to go over it several times. A smaller section, you need to go over it twice
3. Don’t run the straightener through your hair too fast, but not too slow either.
4. Watch my video! please! –> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhfbnWvM7f4
i would definitely recommend getting your hair thinned the next time you get it cut. but depending on how curly your hair is, if you get too many layers put in and don’t have product in it when it’s curly, it’s just going to look like a big poof!! i would highly recommend getting a CHI flat iron. they are expensive, but they are worth it. or if you really don’t like your curls at all, you could get it chemically straightened (ex: relaxer). hope you figure something out!
You should get your hair thinned the next time you get it cut. This doesn’t change the length or anything, but removes bulk. Also, ask for layers and angles. When you straighten your hair, section it by layers and spray on some heat protectant and brush it in. Straighten each section, and then let down a little bit more hair and spray more heat protectant on. When you are straightening it, don’t take huge pieces of hair at once, but take small sections to make it easier. Do not hold the straightener on the pieces for a long time, because it will get damaged. Don’t straighten your hair everyday because you will get split ends and your hair will become brittle and frizzy. Use a deep conditioner every once in a while. Hope this helps (:
